Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority jointly with European Business Association are pleased to invite you to a high-calibre “must-attend” event “Port Industry Development: Practitioners Talks” – to be held as part of the annual Ukrainian Ports Forum 2019 – a key industry event which has been running very successfully, and will be in its second year in Odesa.
The round table is a targeted event specially designed for exporters and importers, representatives of port operators, logistics, banking, finance and maritime businesses, suppliers and those involved in the development and operation of container ports, warehouses and terminals.
An intimate niche discussion (open to registered participants only), comprising a select handful of industry experts, allows for insightful talks and great networking.

1. Port industry reform: how to change governance and attract new investment:
- Attracting investment for seaports’ development through public-private partnership;
- Application of the principles of the “landlord” model;
- Fixing of seaports’ specialization.
2. Problematic issues of environmental inspections at seaports: legislative and regulatory framework:
- Cancellation of isolated ballast control;
- The order of interaction between the SE “USPA” and the State ecological inspection, the Procedure of sampling and the Procedure of calculating refund amounts;
