Round table "Concessions in seaports - advantages for the state and business" will take place on May 27, 2021 in Odesa within the framework of the third Ukrainian Ports Forum (UPF 2021).
One of the tasks of the National Transport Strategy of Ukraine until 2030 and Ukrainian Sea Ports Development Strategy until 2038 is to increase the efficiency of activities and transfer state stevedoring companies to concession.
Seaports of Ukraine are attractive for domestic and foreign investors. Ensuring their sustainable financing and development through private investment is an important component of this strategic infrastructure. That is why, Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority jointly with the Reform Support Team (RST) of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine will organize a Round Table dedicated to public-private partnership in the maritime sector. Participants will present current and prospective concession projects in seaports, as well as discuss mechanisms and conditions for the implementation of these concession projects.
The round table will be attended by: Acting Head of USPA Oleksandr Golodnytskii, Director of RST Iryna Koshel, Senior Project Manager of RST on Maritime Reform Anatoliy Timenko, Head of the PPP Project Office SPILNO Taras Boychuk, representatives of international financial institutions and businesses.
